A Monster
How can someone so beautiful
Be such a cruel devastating monster
To me or anyone else
The one who loved her so
A fool that cannot leave her be
To pick her up
What holds her down
To think he is in love
But to find out
It was a lie
A love that is covered
But he seems not to mind
For he craves and desires
What he saw in her
He needs a woman like her
Free from this world
As he never has seen
So much was she alike
To his very own heart
But a love that cannot be shared
Is a love that cannot survive
Through the years of time
man who is in love
With a monster like her
Can only break what keeps him down
As long as she is merciful
she gives him the key to the lock
As he shall be able
To leave what has kept him down
To blood and tears
To leave her in the dust
Is all he wanted to do
But was the most difficult thing
He had to ever make
For his love is thick
But her lies are burns
As he knows the longer he trys
The deeper shall the pain be
If only she has the heart to see
Which a monster seems to never have
For he is stuck in place
Of a love that is not real
To learn is difficult
It cannot be taught
Learned it he must
That this love shall hurt
But it will heal
The sooner you leave
But for now
The lock just gets lighter
For he can go back to her
As she grips the hold
She has upon him
To feast on what is left
To an already broken body
He will fall back in love
With the monster that hurt his soul
The Day
To this day
I fully understand
Why you and I
Could not be
Years before
When we were young
But now
I have broken these chains
That has held me to you
As we are still
Intertwined
Through the years of our lives
You puzzled me so
Sending thoughts and ideas
To my already
Warped mind
Sending simple thoughts
Of me and you
Together once again
As some nights I puzzle
What you really think of me
In the words you speak
Opening doors
That we never traveled through
Bringing up the past
Where I thought
We had forgotten
As you’ve already moved on
To my thought you were happy
But to the brink of your tears
You come to me
As my arms open
Ready to listen
You speak of us
But to make no promises
To ever make them true
Never make the promise
Of me and you
To send a message
To show a picture
To sing a song
To create a smile
Making a path in my mind
Where you and I
Can finally travel upon once again
To an extent
You never admit
What you truly speak
In the words you spoke to me
To warp my mind
To see a future
I think may come true
As I am no more
Then what I am
Just waiting for you
To finally speak
Of what you truly think
About me and you
For I am
What I am
A lonely man
With a piece of my heart
Always waiting for you
The piece I left
For you to have
Shall always ask
Do you truly want me?
To become more
Then,
What I have ever have been
The person you finally wanted
May be gone
For the piece of his heart
Has shriveled to dust
For I am what I am
The chains on me
Are finally broken
And I ask of you today
Are yours?
